Good Morning and Happy Sunday!
I started this morning up with a jog, and although I said I wasn't going to run today, I was compelled to and I decided to hit the track. Even though this run was tough once again, I am glad that I did it. I burned about 1335 calories for my 1 hour and 50 minutes run. I'm planning to visit my aunt today, and she lives about 3 miles from me, so I may bike to her house and back (depending on the weather and how I feel) for another addition 300-400 calories burned.
TEMPTATION
I don't know why but for some reason whenever I am at my aunt's house, I always feel compelled to overeat. She has a lot of good Nigerian food (Fufu, Rice, Chicken) and although I say I won't eat, somehow I find myself walking to the fridge and overindulging in starchy foods. I'll be braiding my aunt's hair today and I anticipate that the process will take about 7 hours. I AM DETERMINED NOT TO OVER EAT, so I have packed my lunch (quinoa, chicken, vegetables), Snack (nostimo greek yogurt) and before dinner snack (sweet potato). I hope that those will satiate my hunger and keep me on track while I'm at her house.
Today is a positive day and the start/end (whichever way you look at it) of your week. What will you accomplish today? How have you advanced on your path to overall fitness? Have you indulged in negative habits? If you have how do you plan to rectify the situation. Stay the path, DON'T GIVE UP...CHANGE WILL COME!!
